If this movie were a piece of candy, it would have a crunchy outside of dark comedy and an unexpectedly sweet romantic center. Watch it.

I like the optimism in the film. Loved seeing Hugh Laurie but he seemed underutilized. The film focused way too much on setting up the mystery of Tomorrowland and not enough time giving us a payoff. Clooney should have made an appearance in the film much, much earlier.

I like the fact that this was an attempt at complex storytelling but it feels like it fell short in a lot of ways.

Interesting film, though, with gorgeous visuals.
